History of MACC today for 21st Century People

    Moriah Aman Christian Centre
In 1989 the Cwmaman Pentecostal Mission needed to expand from its small hall in Brynmair Road and seized the opportunity to purchase the chapel building to firstly retain its function as a place of worship and to develop a facility that would provide other community benefits.
The first stage of the refurbishment began in 1990 with the conversion of the vestry into a multi-functional hall with its own access, toilets and kitchen facility.
The Pentecostal Mission then moved from Brynmair Road to the new hall. As finances became available, work was carried out on the main chapel building and after years of hand work and commitment by the people was officially re-opened in 2001, and the name changed to Moriah Aman Christian Centre. This name combined to the recognition of the old chapel with the new concept of combining the sharing of the Good News of Jesus Christ with the meeting of other community needs.
The present building is an impressive facility not only for worship services, but also as a quality community resource.
