Communities First provide community development and support in a number of different ways to Cwmaman and the surrounding area. They are funded by the Welsh Assembly Government and also attract significant funds from a variety of other sources for local development projects. They are centred in, and engage directly with, the local community. The Partnership Board which prioritises projects is entirely drawn from local people across a variety of occupations.

At MACC we provide premises and facilities for some CCF activities, including:

• A Term time Youth Club (weekly on THURSDAYS at 6pm).
• Occasional Practical courses for members of the community.
• Occasional events
• Hosts Partnership Board Meetings in turn with other members.

A member of MACC contributes to the CCF Partnership Board.
