Well, the Teddy Bears have had their picnic and they have asked me to thank everyone on their behalf. Rupert, a newbie at the picnics, said " It was really swell. I had such a good time and I shall come along again next time." Winnie and Tigger, both long-standing attendees at these events, were both equally impressed saying, " We've both really enjoyed ourselves this afternoon, and it was great that our human friends were able to make it this year also. Usually we have to meet in secret in the woods." They also wanted to thank you for bringing some money as they haven't any pockets to keep it in! The Noah's Ark Appeal will be so grateful for every penny of the £150 donated. Thanks so much to you all.
We're very excited here at MACC as Sunday, 20 May 2012 at 10:30am, we have a visiting speaker by the name of David Bunce from Turning Point at Calvary based in St Augustine, Florida. David's a young man on a mission to Wales and you can read his blog by clicking here. I'm sure everyone here at Moriah Aman wishes him well as he travels through our wonderful country. We hope you will make every effort to come along and join us all. You will be very welcome and please tell all your friends and family. Look forward to seeing you next Sunday.
| | Yes, if you go out to Moriah Aman Christian Centre on Sunday 20 May at 2:30pm you're sure of a big surprise! Our parent & toddler group is holding a Teddy Bears' Picnic at church. There's an entrance fee of £1 per adult and 50p for children over five (free for under), all in aid of the Noah's Ark Appeal. We'll have some refreshments plus some fund raising activities - name the teddy, sweets in a jar, best dressed teddy - that sort of thing. Everyone is welcome - with or without teddies. Please contact Jenny if you can help out on the day! |
